Job Responsibilities:
1. Work with customers, vendors & suppliers to drive deployment of new customer solutions and ongoing improvement of existing solutions.
2. Collaborate with relevant teams on new Product Launches, focusing on Technical Delivery requirements & assist in shaping product evolution to ensure products are fit for purpose with streamlined processes.
3. Engage with the Design/CTO teams to simplify the network and proactively drive automation of the plan and build tasks where possible.
4. As required, work on project / bid related tasks, represent the team to assess workload and resources requirements and integrate into implementation & project plans.
5. Identify and resolve potential technical issues at the technical validation stage to ensure issues are resolved prior to entering the delivery process.
6. Undertake complex problem diagnosis and resolution of customer issues identified during RTT/migrations of services.
7. Work on Technical projects/delivery support tasks independently with minimal guidance. This may involve working alone or as part of a wider project/support team, managing and delivering on specific tasks.
8. Perform configurations on equipment in accordance with guidelines, procedures, and method statements, with strict adherence to the Network Activity Policy and Planned Engineering Works and Permit to Work Policies.
9. Participate in an on-call rota to support out of hours scheduled customer delivery.
Have you:
1. CCNP or NRS2 certification?
2. Experience with major hardware vendors and platforms, including but not limited to Cisco, Nokia, Juniper?
3. Excellent knowledge of LAN and WAN technologies?
4. Strong expertise with BGP, OSPF, and related routing protocols?
5. Strong working knowledge of Layer 2 & Layer 3 protocols?
6. Previous experience working in an Operational / delivery role?
7. 5+ years of experience across a wide variety of IP Solutions in varying roles?
