Our client's expanding retail team is looking for a passionate and customer-focused Agri Retail Sales Assistant to join their shop in Goresbridge. If you have experience in the Agri, Equine, or Pet retail industry and thrive on delivering excellent customer service, this role is for you. You will also support other aspects of the business, including agri crop treatment and veterinary supplies.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide expert advice and support to customers on a wide range of products.
* Regularly restock display areas to maintain product availability.
* Maintain the highest standards of store presentation and cleanliness, including the shop floor, storage, and display areas.
* Handle cash, cheques, and balance the till at the end of each day.
* Ensure the smooth daily operation of the retail outlet.
* Follow policies and procedures to secure cash and merchandise.
* Participate in regular stocktakes and stock counts, physically verifying units in stock.
* Manage product coding, pricing, and updating of prices on items for sale.
Key Requirements:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
* Genuine interest in the agricultural industry, including animal health and nutrition.
* Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
* 1–2 years of counter sales experience is beneficial.
* Previous retail experience is a distinct advantage.
* Familiarity with SAP is desirable but not essential.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Educated to Leaving Certificate level.
* A Level 6 or 7 certification in an Agri-related discipline is highly desirable.
