AML SupervisorOliver James has partnered with a leading fund administration provider to recruit an AML Supervisor.
This role is key to maintaining and enhancing the organisation's AML framework, ensuring compliance excellence and driving continuous improvement.
The successful candidate will work closely with the AML Manager, overseeing key control functions, managing junior team members, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
AML Oversight:Act as a reviewer for low- and medium-risk AML files, including client risk assessments and exception reviews.
Oversee key controls, ensuring the effectiveness of AML processes.
Manage ongoing monitoring activities, including screening, transaction monitoring, and periodic reviews.
Ensure compliance with AML/CTF regulations and internal governance frameworks.
Leadership & Team Management:
Allocate and assign work within the AML team, ensuring deadlines are met.
Provide training and mentorship to junior staff members.
Collaborate with the AML Manager to enhance processes and internal controls.
Stakeholder & Regulatory Engagement:
Act as a key point of contact for clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
Provide regular updates to senior management on AML matters and key projects.
Monitor and report suspicious activity to the MLRO as required.
Qualifications:
Educational Background:
A bachelor's degree in a relevant field
Experience:
At least three years of AML experience within financial services (funds experience preferred)
Certifications:
Professional AML-related certifications (e.g., Compliance Institute, IoB) are preferred.
Skills:
Strong analytical and investigative abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High level of integrity with attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple processes within tight deadlines.
