This position is a hybrid role based at our state-of-the-art Head Office in Maynooth - an open-plan office featuring collaborative working areas, a subsidised canteen, EV charging points, and excellent accessibility by car or public transport.
The Financial Accountant will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of entities within the group, ensuring the completion of all month-end functions in the preparation of accurate and timely management reports.

Key Responsibilities:
* Ownership of a portfolio of entities within the group, including responsibility for completion of all month-end functions in the preparation of accurate and timely management reports
* Responsibility for revenue recognition on forward fund and construction contracts
* Support the group reporting processes
* Coordinate and participate in the drafting of single-entity financial statements
* Participate in half-year and year-end reporting, including financial statement preparation
* Liaise with the group's internal and external auditors
* Assist in the preparation of the annual report, coordination, and response to internal audit reviews, and maintenance and update of the risk register
* Support the annual and quarterly budgeting and reforecasting processes
* Partner with departments across the business, providing informative analysis on margin, overhead, and capex variances
* Review and enhance processes to streamline financial reporting and improve controls
* Provide input into Finance-related projects, as required
Requirements:
* Professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA)
* 'Big 4' trained experience is desirable
* Experience in the construction industry is beneficial
* Ability to work across several workstreams and meet strict deadlines
* Self-motivated and solution-driven individual
