Job Description
In a nutshell
As a Test Automation Consultant, you will be working closely with other teams to analyse testing processes and propose improvements.
Where will you be based and what business will you support?
Based in Dublin, you will be joining a local Quality Team that works with Global Teams to improve quality and testing processes across our IT Solutions Programmes. These include, but are not limited to, Application Lifecycle Management; Monitoring & Observability; among others.
How can you help us?
You will:
1. Work closely with other teams, analyse testing processes, and propose improvements.
2. Train Test Engineers and help to spread good practices across the organisation.
3. Be responsible for setting up Test Automation framework for multiple solution deliveries.
4. Apply quality engineering principles throughout Agile product lifecycle.
5. Clearly and effectively communicate with different stakeholders.
6. Participate in Quality Guild workshops and training sessions to spread the word about Test Automation Best Practices.
What can we do for you?
As a Test Automation Consultant, you will act as the SME for Testing and Quality processes; where you will gain exposure to exciting and Global Projects and Programmes.
You will have the opportunity to interface with diverse teams and work on a wide range of tasks and with different technologies.
You will work on workshops and presentations for C-levels within the Organisation.
Qualifications
Are you our kind of extraordinary?
You have:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or similarly related field.
2. 5+ years of professional Test Automation Engineer experience.
3. BDD & ATDD experience.
4. Experience testing Web Services: RESTFul, SOAP.
5. Familiar with GIT, Selenium Web Driver, SoapUI, Postman, Playwright, Azure DevOps.
6. Knowledge of DevOps practices.
7. Strong problem-solving ability.
8. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
