Reliability Engineering Maintenance Planner, RME
Description:
We are seeking an experienced Reliability Engineering Maintenance Planner to join our team in a highly automated and fast-paced Sort Center at Amazon.
Purpose of the Job:
The Reliability Engineering Maintenance Planner is responsible for asset and spares management, preventative maintenance planning, and machine history data. They will serve as the site lead for the CMMS software and extract information from it to support the decision-making process of the site engineering manager.
Responsibilities:
1. CMMS Expertise: Be the site-level Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the CMMS software, train the local engineering team, and escalate issues to the EU team.
2. EU Standards Compliance: Ensure the system adheres to EU standards and participate in EU-led projects to roll out new functionality, procedures, scheduling, or reports.
3. Equipment Management: Record site-level equipment, spare parts, and minimum holding levels accurately in the system to ensure technicians have the necessary parts.
4. Maintenance Scheduling: Forecast and assign preventative maintenance to technicians within the team to provide high equipment availability to internal customers.
5. Equipment Performance: Compile equipment information, performance metrics, and machine histories, making recommendations for improvements based on findings.
6. Spare Parts Management: Manage spare parts stock levels, place orders, and track inventory with procurement and the wider EU network to find savings or efficiencies.
Basic Qualifications:
* Previous experience in planning, scheduling, and auditing maintenance activities.
* Experience with CMMS software.
* Familiarity with MS Excel core functions.
* Ability to communicate in English and the local language at CEFR Level B2 or higher.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, operations, business administration, or a related field.
* Experience with the Infor EAM platform.
* Experience rolling out a new CMMS system.
* Experience delivering training or coaching others.
