Deputy Person in Charge
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to oversee the delivery of high-quality care services for Separated Children Seeking International Protection.
About the Role
This role involves ensuring compliance with TUSLA regulations, supporting the Person in Charge in managing operations effectively, and providing safe and supportive residential care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, implement, and oversee social care programs that address the needs of Separated Children Seeking International Protection.
* Lead, mentor, and support a team of social care professionals.
* Conduct assessments and create tailored care plans that support integration, emotional well-being, and education.
* Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care programs and services.
* Ensure compliance with local, state, and national regulations, including TUSLA guidelines.
* Collaborate with community organizations, educational institutions, and stakeholders to enhance service delivery.
Requirements:
* A Level 7 or higher degree in Social Care or registration with CORU under the Social Care Workers division.
* Minimum of one year of experience as a team leader within a residential setting.
* Strong knowledge of social care policies, procedures, and TUSLA legislation.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
* Proven ability to lead and inspire a team.
* Empathy, resilience, and a strong passion for supporting vulnerable young people.
* Proficiency in computer applications, including Teams, Excel, report generation, and staff rota management.
