Senior Quantity Surveyor
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to provide expert financial and contractual guidance for our ongoing and upcoming construction projects.
Job Responsibilities:
* Cost Estimation and Management: Manage all aspects of cost estimation, budgeting, and financial management for projects, ensuring the cost-effectiveness and efficiency of project delivery.
* Tender and Contract Management: Prepare, negotiate, and analyse project tenders and contracts, overseeing and assessing project costs throughout all stages.
* Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with project teams to track progress and address cost-related issues, leading discussions with stakeholders, contractors, and suppliers on financial and contractual matters.
* Reporting and Compliance: Prepare detailed reports and cost analysis for stakeholders, ensuring compliance with regulatory and contractual obligations in all financial dealings.
* Cost Savings: Identify potential cost-saving opportunities without compromising project quality.
Experience and Qualifications:
* Minimum 7+ years of experience: In quantity surveying or related roles in construction, with demonstrated expertise in contract administration and tender management.
* Strong Analytical Skills: With a focus on detail and accuracy in financial reporting, excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
* Desirable Skills: Familiarity with the latest cost management software and tools, knowledge of sustainable construction practices and cost implications.
