Senior Architectural Technician/Technologist
We are seeking an experienced Architectural Technician/Technologist to join our team of architects and engineers.
The ideal candidate will be adaptable, competent, and have more than 5 years' experience working across a range of industries and on a diversity of projects, ideally large in scale.
As a Senior Architectural Technician/Technologist, you will work on a large-scale data centre project, producing drawings for construction teams using AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, ensuring that work on site is constructed in accordance with drawings, and ensure compliance with statutory legislation, regulations, standards, and good practice.
Your responsibilities will include project feasibility studies, reporting back to management, advising on planning issues, and assisting with advice on energy conservation and fire safety.
In addition, you will comply with relevant legislation and regulations on Health and Safety and codes of practice.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Producing drawings for construction teams on the project from start to finish using AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
* Working as part of a multidisciplinary team and making sure that work on site is being constructed in accordance with drawings.
* Ensuring proper compliance with statutory legislation, regulations, standards, and good practice.
* Project feasibility studies and reporting back to management.
* Advice on planning issues and assisting with advice on energy conservation and fire safety.
* Complying with relevant legislation and regulations on Health and Safety and codes of practice.
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years post qualification experience.
* Educational qualification in Architectural Technology.
* AutoCAD, REVIT, and Sketchup proficiency.
* Strong design and detailing experience with excellent technical and site knowledge.
* Experience working with Irish Building and Planning Regulations.
* Experience of preparing planning, tender, and construction details, and documentation.
* Experience working on large-scale projects, commercial, industrial, and/or public sector works.
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment such as strong teamwork and communication skills.
* Ability to use initiative and have excellent problem-solving abilities.
