Due to expansion in the Organisation we are recruiting for the following:
Flexi Part-Time Support Worker – Residential
Minimum 12 hours per week
Salary starting from €14.93 per hour

We are looking for resilient and friendly Support Workers to join a team that works in partnership with people who use our services, to enable them to live as independently as possible and to be part of their local community. Staff are required to work shifts on a rota basis, including evenings, weekends and may also be required to complete sleep-in duties. You will be required to do additional hours to cover annual leave and absence of leave.
Skills/Abilities required of a Support Worker
* Ability to work on own initiative
* Awareness of Key Worker/ Support Worker Role and philosophy surrounding support to people with complex needs Programme Planning Person Centred Plans
* Full drivers licence essential

Before you start
A full QQI level 5 Health Care Qualification is essential, (e.g. health, community, care sector) but a genuine passion for providing person centred support is key to being successful in the role of a Support Worker. In return, Autism Initiatives will provide you with a full induction and ongoing learning to support you to obtain qualifications pertinent to the role.
