This is a 12-month contract position based in Newbridge, Co. Kildare.
Summary:
Keurig Dr. Pepper is seeking an experienced Finance professional for its Beverage Concentrate Manufacturing operations.
The successful candidate will be a financial leader who partners with Operations Management to provide decision support and drive cost and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Direct Business Partnering/Decision Support:
o Provide meaningful insight and decision support to site management to drive business results.
o Identify and lead productivity, process, and continuous improvement activities.
o Partner with Beverage Concentrate Engineering on Capital Projects appraisals.
* Budget/Forecasting/Action Planning:
o Lead budgeting and quarterly forecasting activities for the Beverage Concentrate operation and external third-party warehouse.
o Compile weekly/monthly projections and present actionable data in real-time.
o Provide financial analysis and support for operational and warehouse finance, developing mission-critical performance reports, and tracking financial performance against metrics and goals.
o Support the Senior Finance Manager and central costing team to ensure accurate annual costing process.
* Month End Close/Governance:
o Coordinate activities with corporate accounting to ensure accurate financial results and assist in other financial closing activities.
o Interact with operational teams to ensure spend accuracy and identify variances from plan through deep dive analyses on root cause of variances.
o Prepare and distribute relevant variance analysis through reports and presentations related to both the manufacturing operation and third-party warehousing.
o Partner with Supply Chain planning team to ensure inventory control adherence and tight management of obsolescence impacts.
o Oversight of Fixed asset register and new asset purchases, ensuring accurate financial records.
* Administrative Activities/Career Development:
o Provide ongoing support to the operations and planning teams around accounts payable issue resolution and vendor tax compliance.
o Participate in function or career development training.
o Develop new skills essential to the future of Supply Chain Finance.
Requirements:
1. Qualifications:
* Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience.
* 4+ years' postgraduate experience.
* Fully Qualified preferable.
* Financial acumen, experience with problem-solving with analytical thinking.
* SAP experience preferred, advanced Excel skills.
* BI experience a plus.
