Job Description:
A Commissioning Engineer is sought to join the Amazon Web Services (AWS) team in EMEA. The ideal candidate will have experience in Critical Infrastructure Commissioning and a background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support vendors, contractors, and teams in the construction and commissioning of various systems, including high and low-voltage power systems, generators, UPS, HVAC, chilled water systems, building management systems, and electrical power monitoring systems.
* Provide multi-discipline input into project scheduling, test script development, designing, and planning.
* Review component submittal packages, lead factory witness testing, perform system-level and integrated system testing.
* Audit activities to ensure compliance with environmental, quality, and safety requirements.

The AWS Data Center Commissioning Team is a highly experienced group of engineers and professionals dedicated to ensuring the rapid delivery of a quality product while maintaining full transparency and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Requirements:
* 5+ years of experience in mission-critical facilities or data center infrastructure.
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline.
* 3+ years of commissioning experience.
* Certification or training specific to NETA, ASHRAE, or commissioning-specific education courses.
* Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally (50%+).
