Our client, one of Europe’s largest pet food manufacturers, is seeking to hire an Accounts Administrator to join their busy finance team in Mullingar for the summer months. This position would be a great opportunity for a recent graduate or a student, studying accounting, finance or business looking to get practical experience.
It is a full-time permanent position working Monday to Friday 9-17.30 for 3 months.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with processing and reconciling invoices and payments.
* Support the preparation of financial reports and statements.
* Manage and update financial records and databases.
* Assist with month-end closing procedures.
* Communicate with vendors and customers to resolve account discrepancies.
* Provide administrative support to the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams.
* Participate in special projects and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
* Recent graduate or final year student pursuing a degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
