Key Responsibilities
Contract Manager
Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors, and the general workforce to drive an embedded HS&E culture and create a continually progressive environment focused on our number one core value: Safety.
Lead all aspects of Project Team functions, including PEP, Risk & Commercial Success, Financials, Processes, HSEQS, Stakeholder Management, Project Administration, Design Management, and Project Close Out.
Compile and implement the Project Execution Plan, specifically referencing the HSE & Quality plan.
Prepare contract reports and provide updates to monthly cost meetings, reviewing buildability and identifying methods of construction with commercial or programme advantage where possible.
Develop project plans and schedules, executing plans to achieve agreed outcomes, coordinating project activities according to our company's Quality System, Standard Quality Procedures, and Engineering Specifications.
Manage the complete day-to-day lifecycle of projects from initial stages through to hand-over, meeting agreed objectives in timely delivery, cost, quality, and client satisfaction.
Achieve a 'right first time' philosophy throughout the project life cycle, ensuring responsible leadership, management, technical, and engineering expertise throughout.
Qualifications/Experience
Degree in an Engineering discipline (Civil, Structural, or Construction Management).
Experience ideally within a main/specialist contractor.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
Strong interpersonal skills and an in-depth knowledge of the construction industry and project execution.
Computer literacy and familiarity with MS Office, Project, and similar scheduling packages.
Good knowledge of safety management and quality management.
Ability to lead with confidence, mentor, and motivate staff under them.
