Finance Assistant
Location: Dublin City Centre / Hybrid
Contract: 12-Month Fixed Term
Our client, an established professional services firm is seeking a Finance Assistant to join its team on a 12-month contract. Based in Dublin City Centre and offering a hybrid working model, this is a great opportunity to gain broad finance experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Your Role
* Process invoices and ensure accurate VAT recording.
* Prepare and process supplier payments and employee expenses.
* Perform reconciliations for bank accounts, supplier accounts, and intercompany transactions.
* Manage the finance inbox, responding to queries in a timely manner.
* Post cash receipts and payments, ensuring accuracy in financial records.
* Assist with process improvements and support the wider finance team as needed.
Your Skills
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Finance Assistant or Accounts Assistant role.
* Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and finance systems.
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
