Job Description
* Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for various projects.
* Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to support project decision-making.
* Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure effective cost management and value engineering.
* Prepare and submit tender documentation and participate in contract negotiations.
* Monitor project progress and expenditures, ensuring compliance with budgetary constraints.
* Provide advice on contractual claims and variations, and support dispute resolution processes.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation related to project costs and contracts.
Requirements:
* A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
* Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying, preferably within the construction industry.
* Strong knowledge of construction contracts, measurement, and cost management principles.
* Proficiency in cost estimating software.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a team environment.
* A proactive approach with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
