Job Summary: The Commodity Cost Analyst will be responsible for analysing, forecasting, and managing the cost structures of key commodities to support the organization's operational and financial objectives.
This role involves working closely with factory management, factory functional areas, finance and supply chain, to provide insights on cost trends versus budget allocations.
Responsibilities & Duties: This role provides a wide range of critical Administrative and Analytical Support to the Manufacturing System Group (MSG) team within IRL FSM.
Including but not limited to: Commodity Cost Data Integrity: Commodity Cost systems management including weekly cost adjustments and mapping to correct technologies budgets (including but not limited to weekly leader, technologies adjustments).
Commodity Cost Data Analysis: Factory commodity cost scorecards analysis and Functional areas cost management support to hit quarterly budgets/goals.
This includes meeting with Areas Cost POCs to support AdHoc queries.
PO Management: Issue site shopping carts for purchase order creation, track and reconcile purchase orders to ensure they are being invoiced correctly and on time (PAT accruals ownership).
Commodity Cost Forecasting: support MSG team on quarterly budget forecast analysis and submission to Finance (POR process).
Commodity Cost Goaling: Closely work with Factory functional areas to align on quarterly budgets for all technologies, including quarterly upload to Commodity Cost Systems.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: partner with Finance and supply chain departments to reconcile monthly and quarterly spends versus allocated budget.
Projects management: support MSG team on tracking of Commodity Cost Factory projects and present out PAS and help needed.
Commodity Cost Reporting and Presentations: support MSG team on preparation of regular cost analysis report (OSC decks, Functional Area review) and presentations for senior management (Ad-Hoc queries and Task Forces meetings).
Qualifications, Experience and Competencies: Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
3+ years of work experience in a Supply Chain, Engineering or Business Administration support role Required Skills & Behavioural traits: Strong analytical skills with high proficiency in Microsoft applications in particular PowerBI and Advanced Excel.
Ability to gather data, effectively compile, analyze & report out through pivot-tables, graphs, v-look up, etc.
System and project management skills: Comfortable with navigating variety of internal and external systems and applications.
Effectively manage project deliverables to timelines.
Additional technical data analytics skills such as creating Power BI reports and/or other similar types of data analytics tools.
Ability to crunch data and use other data analytical skills to create automated reports and system solutions to drive efficiencies.
Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with multiple factory customers, and stakeholders with high level of professionalism.
