About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Human Resources Officer to join our team. As an experienced HR professional, you will play a vital role in supporting key HR functions, driving best practices, and contributing to a dynamic and growing organisation.
The Key Responsibilities:
* Providing professional HR support and guidance to employees and management.
* Assisting with strategic HR initiatives, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
* Supporting compliance with HR policies, employment law, and industry regulations.
* Managing recruitment processes, including drafting job descriptions, advertising roles, and conducting interviews.
* Issuing contracts, onboarding new employees, and supporting probationary reviews.
* Tracking and maintaining HR records, including training logs and performance appraisals.
* Supporting the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
* Contributing to HR projects, including accreditations such as ISO9001.
* Keeping up to date with employment legislation and best HR practices.
Your Background:
* At least 2 years experience in an HR role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
* GCSEs (Grade C or above) in English & Maths (or equivalent).
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
