Due to continued growth in the Irish business, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for a self–motivated, experienced, driven field based Senior Business Development Manager to join our Sales Team. If you have a passion for sales and achieving high stretch targets, then this role could be for you. On the job training and ongoing support will be provided.
What would your day to day look like?
1. Outbound calls and visits to sales leads with promoting and selling our Telematics portfolios, with focus on the fleet and corporate sector
2. Ability to cold call and create meeting opportunities verbally
3. Ability to communicate clearly, and professionally and facilitate meetings
4. Generate and manage the pipeline whilst creating new sales opportunities
5. Proactively manage all new customers from leads converted up until they reach 12 months tenure.
6. Where applicable maintain existing customer relationships for a large portion of the fuel card and Telematics business which involves customer retention and regular price negotiation initiated by customers. Retention includes contacting customers who have ceased to buy.
7. Work to achieve set Gross Margin / CPL targets and have the commercial acumen to maximise the profit of each deal
8. Create Value Added Service opportunities for the wider group
9. Participating in structured weekly meetings which facilitate the sales process, information sharing, potential customer discussion and planning tactics.
What do we expect of you?
10. Must have a full clean category B driving license
11. Minimum of 3 years sales experience in field based B2B sales
12. Proven to be excellent at self-generating new business
13. Previous experience working within fuel or telematics is advantageous
14. Flexibility towards company requirements
15. A positive, ambitious and committed approach
16. Being based in and having field sales experience selling into the east coast of Ireland is a distinct advantage
