Sales Merchandising Role in Tobacco and Vaping Industry
This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a leading field marketing company on an international brand.
Key Responsibilities:
* Taking ownership of a geographic area and delivering excellence in merchandising principles through implementation of client initiatives.
* Building and maintaining full distribution of all products, including NPD, and generating extra space for brands by implementing store assortment optimisation.
* Merchandising all client SKUs, replenishing stock, and building display units and feature displays.
* Placing Point of Sale and Points of Interruption to enhance the Path to Purchase.
* Capturing and reporting in-store BAT and competitor activity via handheld devices.
* Maintaining local level relationships and demonstrating flexibility when needed.
Requirements:
* Problem-solving skills with a can-do attitude and social intelligence.
* Understanding of merchandising, category planning, and planograms.
* Experience in merchandising and product availability in the FMCG sector.
* Proven record of delivering behaviors commensurate with company guidelines.
* Good interpersonal skills, verbal communication, and personal organizational skills.
* Ability to overcome objections and strong business acumen.
* Knowledge and experience of using tablet-based toolkits, CRM, and auditing tools.
* Full clean driving license and at least 2 years' experience in this sector.
Package:
* Salary: €30-35k per annum (dependent on experience).
* Bonus structure attached (OTE 20% of salary).
