About the Job
We are seeking a Cloud Support Engineer to join our AWS Support team. As a Cloud Support Engineer, you will be at the forefront of this transformational technology, assisting a global list of companies and developers that are taking advantage of a growing set of services and features to run their mission-critical applications.
As a Cloud Ambassador, you will arm our customers with the required tools and tactics to get the most out of their Product and Support investment.
The ideal candidate will have experience in administration and troubleshooting for two or more of the following: DevOps/Deployment Orchestration Management, Configuration Management.
You should also have knowledge/experience in continuous integration technology, understand the complete deployment lifecycle from design, build, test, deploy, and experience with Kubernetes or containerization technologies.
Familiarity with programming/scripting (Batch, VB, PowerShell, Java, C#, Chef, Perl, Ruby, and/or PHP) is required, as well as exposure to Virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware, Xen).
A minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience is necessary, including one or more Web and Application Server technologies, scripting or development experience using Python, Node.js/JavaScript, PowerShell, or C# (.NET), Ruby, Golang, and experience with System Administration with Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, RedHat) and/or Microsoft Windows Server and associated technologies.
You should also have experience in Networking technologies including DNS, TCP/IP, SSL, DHCP, and Load Balancing, as well as experience with Network troubleshooting tools.
This role requires excellent communication skills in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
