This position is open for weekend shift, preferably from Saturday to Monday between 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM (12-hour shift) JOB SUMMARY Lead Debug Technician to support the Debug/Rework team.This individual should have a good working knowledge of all Jabil Xena manufacturing line processes and will work in a leadership capacity supporting the Debug/Repair Manager.The individual will be responsible for monitoring the bone pile and dashboard, identifying opportunities to reduce the bone pile to or below target, while maintaining quality and safety standards.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Capable of standing in for the Debug Team Manager for daily/weekly meetings.Will be expected to support production daily in both Server & Rack areas.Be capable of drafting and publishing detailed communications across shifts, FPY reports 5MM, IRMA etc.Ensures Debug/Rework Team Leader is aware of any items that need to be discussed or raised at the daily handover meeting.Coordinates Debug/Rework daily activities in line with planning/quality requests.Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.Lead by example, ensuring safe work practices are always maintained in line with company policies.Proactively manage absenteeism and attendance and escalate to Debug/Rework Team Leader.Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback coaching, using established reports and formats.Communicate with the team by delivering daily 5MM's focused on Safety, Quality, Cost and Delivery.Support and promote continuous improvements and lean manufacturing activities, through Kaizen, A3's, and Gemba walks (actions) where required/appropriate.Highlight performance and training issues as appropriate to maximize the performance of all employees.Maintain time-keeping records on TMS promptly for payroll purposes.Other Adhoc duties as assigned.Person Specification: Computer literate with intermediate / Advanced MS Office skills.Person-focused (willingly and able to identify and mentor others).Literate in Linux and bash (shell) script.Highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.Strong planning & organizational skills and attention to detail.Proficiency in the English language is a requirement alongside eligibility to work in Ireland.Proven ability to meet deadlines.A demonstrated "can do" work ethic with excellent problem-solving skills.JOB QUALIFICATIONS KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS Essential Criteria: Minimum Leaving Certificate required or equivalent.BS/BA degree in Manufacturing Technology / Mechanical Engineering / Electronic / Electronics / Mechatronics / Computer Programming or relevant discipline.1-2 years' experience working as a Debug Technician, or a similar role is required.Previous Team lead experience.CompTIA A+ certification.Intermediate / Advanced Linux experience.Desired Criteria: Experience in electronic manufacturing environment is highly desirable.Experience in leading process improvements / lean manufacturing activities in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.Previous data center experience as technician/Lead is highly desirable.
