Growth in the generation and use of clean energy sources has created huge demand for control, monitoring and measurement equipment in every aspect and we have a strong portfolio of existing products to enable our customers. As the revolution builds momentum, there is increasing need for greater complexity in the digital and mixed signal design requirements for the next generation of products. As such, we are seeking a Graduate Design Engineer to join our group and grow our digital capability at our Cork or Limerick, Ireland sites. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Design engineering in ADI is a challenging but rewarding role. You will collaborate closely with existing digital and analog design engineers during the development of mixed signal microchips. As a designer, you will gain experience in all aspects of the design flow: solving technical problems, product definition, design ownership, and usage of the many leading-edge CAD tools to realise these complex systems. Training and mentorship will be provided in all aspects of the flow. The role contains plenty of opportunity to understand and contribute to wider semiconductor challenges, meaning a long and interesting career awaits. Minimum qualifications BEng/MEng degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering At ADI, we believe the design engineering role requires the following: A curious mind and excellent problem-solving skills. We solve complex problems for our customers. A strong ability to understand and clearly articulate technical issues. Communication is key in our engineering roles. Supplementary coding skills (C, Python, MATLAB) deemed an advantage.
