We are seeking a part qualified Assistant Financial Controller to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work in a dynamic company with opportunities for growth and development.
Job Summary
This hybrid role, based in Dublin West, will see you working on the day-to-day aspects of finance and central administration, leading a finance team and processing financial transactions. You will also be responsible for ensuring adequate financial controls are in place and preparing monthly management accounts.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the finance and central administration function, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and efficiency.
* Lead a finance team, promoting engagement and motivation while achieving business objectives.
* Process financial transactions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll and Credit Control.
* Implement and maintain effective financial controls, as directed by the Group Financial Controller.
* Assist in managing daily cash flow and producing weekly and quarterly cash forecasts.
* Prepare monthly management accounts, including analysis and submission to Group for consolidation.
* Support the production of annual budgets and quarterly profit and loss and balance sheet forecasts.
* Contribute to HMRC & ROS submissions, including VAT, tax and other government submissions.
Requirements
* ACA/ACCA/CPA part qualified accountant.
* Minimum 2+ years of finance operations experience.
* Experience with Microsoft NAV or similar product.
* Payroll experience.
* Proven people management skills.
* Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
* Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong leadership abilities and experience in payroll. A highly organized individual with great attention to detail and ability to track and meet deadlines is essential.
Estimated Salary Range: €60,000 - €80,000 per annum
