Job Summary:
We are currently seeking an experienced and professional Front of House Manager to lead our front office operations at our busy hotel in Dublin 22. The successful candidate will be a customer-focused individual with a proven track record in Irish hospitality and a strong command of HotSoft property management systems.
You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of all front of house functions, including reception, reservations, guest relations, and concierge services, while maintaining the highest standards of service and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage day-to-day front office operations, ensuring a seamless guest experience from check-in to check-out
2. Lead, train, and motivate the front office team to deliver exceptional service
3. Ensure compliance with all company procedures and quality standards
4. Handle guest complaints and feedback with professionalism and prompt resolution
5. Oversee reservations and room allocations in collaboration with the Revenue and Sales teams
6. Maintain and optimise the use of the HotSoft PMS system for all front desk operations
7. Conduct regular performance reviews and support staff development
8. Monitor and manage front office budgets, including payroll and operational expenses
9. Liaise with other departments to ensure excellent communication and coordination
10. Prepare and analyse reports related to guest satisfaction, occupancy, and revenue
11. Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and fire regulations
Requirements:
1. Minimum 5 years’ experience in a front of house management role within the Irish hotel industry
2. Minimum 5 years’ hands-on experience using HotSoft PMS
3. Strong leadership and team management skills
4. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational abilities
5. Ability to remain calm under pressure and solve problems effectively
6. Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays as required
7. Working knowledge of GDPR compliance and data handling best practices
8. Hospitality management qualification or equivalent
9. Previous experience in a 4-star or higher-rated property
10. Familiarity with revenue management practices
