Quality Technician
A new opportunity has opened for a Quality Technician with a leading Life Science company based in Tipperary. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly experienced Quality Technician who has preferably had good exposure in a QA (Quality Assurance) role within the Life Science industry or experience working within a manufacturing/distribution organisation and looking to take the next step in their QA career.
The Role:
* Complete quality functions for the life sciences team.
* Maintain the Quality Management System.
* Maintenance of all quality standards within your scope (ISO, GDP).
* Vendor Set Up.
* Vendor & Customer Change Forms.
* Supplier Change notifications.
* IGLO's – review and approval.
* Complete and overview quality questionnaires as requested.
* Complete internal audits.
* Recording of external audits.
* Arranging and facilitating audits between vendors and the client.
* Monitor customer complaints and non-conformances and ensure they are properly recorded and closed off for the client.
* Reviewing CAPA's and ensuring that they have been completed. Carrying out checks for CAPA's implemented.
* Completing customer SCARs as requested.
* Ad hoc quality, regulatory & improvement projects.
* Carry out such duties/projects as directed by the Quality and Compliance Manager.
* Accompany external auditors when carrying out external quality audits, such as NSAI or customers and assist them as necessary.
* Conduct or accompany Third Party Audits of customers, suppliers, external warehouses etc.
The Candidate:
* Good standard of education with a relevant qualification in Quality and Regulatory matters.
* Good auditing skills.
* Strong numeracy, verbal, and written communication skills.
* Good computer skills.
* Attention to detail and confidentiality is a must for this role.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Willing to travel if required.
