HR Manager
A Galway-based software organization is seeking an HR Manager to support its 120+ employees across the ROI, UK, and APAC. Reporting to the CEO, you will oversee Employee Relations, HR Compliance, Employee Engagement, Compensation, Benefits, and more. The role involves three days on-site in Galway and periodic UK travel.
Responsibilities:
* Employee Relations:
o Serve as a trusted advisor to management and employees on HR matters.
o Resolve employee relations issues to foster a positive work environment.
o Conduct investigations and implement corrective actions when needed.
* Talent Acquisition:
o Partner with hiring managers to execute recruitment strategies.
o Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, ensuring a diverse and inclusive process.
o Collaborate with Recruitment Partners for efficient and quality hiring.
* Performance Management:
o Design and implement performance management processes to boost productivity.
o Provide guidance on goal-setting, feedback, and professional growth.
* Compliance:
o Stay updated on employment laws and ensure policy compliance.
* Compensation and Benefits:
o Work with the CFO to manage compensation and benefits programs.
o Benchmark regularly to maintain market competitiveness.
* HR Strategy:
o Support HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.
o Lead initiatives to improve employee engagement, retention, and satisfaction.
* HR Technology:
o Assess HR technology trends and recommend enhancements.
o Oversee the implementation of HRIS systems.
* HR Metrics and Reporting:
o Develop and monitor HR metrics to evaluate program effectiveness.
o Provide SLT with reports on HR trends and turnover metrics as required.
* Coaching and Advising Line Managers:
o Coach line managers on HR policies and best practices.
o Conduct training on performance management, conflict resolution, and employee development.
o Support workforce planning and talent development with line managers.
* Acquisitions:
o Provide HR support for acquisitions, including data migration, analysis, and TUPE compliance.
* Work/Life Balance Initiatives:
o Implement initiatives promoting work/life balance, including flexible work arrangements and well-being programs.
* Ad hoc:
o Perform additional tasks as requested by management.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related field.
* 5+ years of progressive HR experience.
* Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
* Proven ability to lead HR teams in dynamic environments.
* Expertise in aligning HR strategy with organizational goals.
* Experience in policy development for similar-sized organizations.
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
* Ability to influence peers and senior leadership.
