Job Description
We are seeking a Technical & Design Coordinator to join us at our Fivemiletown facility.
This newly created role will provide exposure to the design process, research and development of fabrics and products, and assisting with technical write-ups for bid/tender processes.
Responsibilities:
* Provide garment specifications and CAD drawings for all products.
* Liaise with customers offshore and in-house manufacturing teams.
* Ensure sealed samples are checked against garment specifications.
* Arrange for sealed sample garments to be sent and delivered to all relevant parties.
* Work on tender opportunities, gathering in samples and advising offshore and in-house manufacturing teams on product.
* Gather technical data for tender opportunities and organizing the testing of fabrics and products.
* Assist in technical write-up pieces as part of a PQQ or ITT bid.
* Keep accurate and up-to-date records and general housekeeping.
* Assist the Sales team with special tasks and enquiries from existing and potential customers.
* Produce visual aids and product flyers for exhibitions and customer visits.

Requirements
Essential:
* Previous experience in garment design.
* Experience of computerized design packages (e.g. Illustrator CS2/Photoshop).
* Proficient use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Customer-facing experience.
Desirable:
* A third-level qualification in design.
* Experience of garment technology/quality control in this field.
