Social network you want to login/join with:RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Home care and Community care.We are hiring a Oncology Registrar for our Hospital in Dublin, Ireland.Key ResponsibilitiesTo provide an oncology service under the direction of an oncology consultant, as well as to assist oncology consultants in their activities.Admission in Oncology Patients are admitted either as a supervisor of the SHO's admittance or as the principal admitter.All patients admitted to this service will be assigned a consultant who is available in person or over the phone 24 hours a day.Take over patients from the previous shift registrar to guarantee continuity of care, make prompt judgements, and write orders.Morning rounds on all oncology patients, including daily decision-making responsibilities and medical note writing. Rounds should conclude with a consultative message and a plan for the next 24 hours.To respond to any unpleasant events, such as injuries, falls, or sudden illnesses, experienced by patients, visitors, or personnel.Contribute to quality improvement, risk management efforts, and policy formulation such that the Oncology Service is of the highest quality and reflects best practices.Participating in tutorials and teaching sessions will help colleagues, medical students, and staff learn.RequirementsFull Irish Medical Council registration and membership in a relevant college are ideal.Experience as a Registrar in an acute hospital setting.Current BCLS certification is essential; ACLS is preferred.Interest in Oncology Medicine and patient care in this area.
