About The Role
Exciting 2-year Fixed Term Senior Project Manager opportunity in Dublin, responsible for scoping planning, organising, allocating resources, budgeting, and successfully leading the implementation of Hansen products for our key utility client based in Dublin, Ireland.
The successful candidate will be exceptionally organised, be able to coordinate teams across various geographies, handle the client project & scope, and be responsive to changing customer goals & requirements. Experience implementing enterprise level software in a software vendor environment will be beneficial.
In this role, you will work directly with our key stakeholders and with our partners to define the project scope and objectives, identify, and manage the resources needed to meet those objectives.
About You
Proven experience as an end-to-end Project Manager supporting ERP systems. Experience in a utilities organisation is strongly preferential.
Demonstrable understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks effectively.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams and clients in multiple time zones.
Detail-oriented and capable of communicating with client stakeholders successfully under any circumstances.
Proficient in using project management software and productivity tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Confluence).
Key Responsibilities
Initiate the project, check feasibility and work out budgets, teams and resources.
Carry out planning in accordance with the needs of your client, including setting goals and objectives, defining roles and producing schedules and timelines for tasks. Some tools, such as Gantt charts, can be used to create a visual project plan.
Lead, and motivate the project team from both internal and external stakeholder organisations.
Manage all onsite implementation tasks including product configuration, environment updates, integration, dress rehearsals, cutover, etc.
Carry out monitoring and control activities to track the progress of the project.
Ensure processes are in place to ensure contracted run services and SLA’s are able to be managed after go-live.
Key liaison between client, delivery and IT services.
Identify and manage risks to ensure delivery is on time.t the process.
Report regularly to management and the client.
