Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Post-doctoral Research Fellow Level 1 or 2 within UCD School of Mathematics and Statistics.

The UCD School of Mathematics and Statistics is seeking to recruit a Post-doctoral Researcher in Pure Mathematics, funded by the Irish Research Council. Applicants should have experience in the arithmetic aspects of the Langlands Programme and p-adic Hodge Theory. This is a temporary, 2-year-long Postdoctoral Research Fellow Level 1 or 2 post (with a possible extension by 9 months, extension subject to approval from grant agency). The postdoctoral researcher will be based in the School of Mathematics and Statistics of University College Dublin, and expected to interact with other members of the research group.
PD1 - Salary range: €44,874 - €51,313 per annum
PD2 - Salary range: €52,715 - €57,332 per annum
Appointment on the above range will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.

The PD2 post is intended for researchers that have completed PD1. As with the PD1, if you have already completed your PD2 stage in UCD or will soon complete a PD2, or your total Postdoctoral experience, inclusive of the duration of the advertised post, would exceed 6 years, you should not apply and should refer to Research Fellow posts instead.
