The role of the management accountant is to help manage the resources of the organisation through up-to-date financial reporting, forecasting and budgeting. You will work with the finance team to produce departmental and overall budgets and forecasts, monthly management accounts and monthly cashflow statements and forecasts. As well as working with the finance team, you will work closely with managers around the organisation, helping them with departmental budgets and identifying areas where the organisation's resources can be utilised more efficiently and effectively. Essential Qualifications & Experience: Qualified Accountant - CIMA, ACCA, ACA. At least three years post qualification experience. Experience of budget management and financial reporting. Excellent process management and organisational skills. An ability to work under pressure and achieve tight deadlines with attention to detail. Advanced Excel skills, along with excellent IT skills. Strong communication skills including influencing, persuading and problem-solving. Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team. A full, clean driving licence. Desirable: Excellent knowledge of Section 38 or 39 Organisation, accounting and financial management systems, or the ability to acquire such knowledge.
