Purpose of role:
Our client is seeking an experienced Property & Casualty Account Handler to join their team in the UK & Ireland on a fixed-term contract covering Maternity for 13 months. The primary goal of this position is to enhance and streamline end-to-end operational services for both our clients and our brokers/account executives.
Key responsibilities and Skills:
* Ensure efficient execution of all Broker Support tasks in alignment with company standards.
* Supervise the service delivery rendered by third-party providers, fostering positive collaboration and assistance.
* Maintain knowledge of end-to-end processes related to IBA, Premium Processing, Claims, and all middle office duties.
* Aid in preparing essential placement documentation, ensuring adherence to minimum standards and relevant market compliance procedures.
* Initiate and supervise premium processing operations, assisting processing technicians in resolving queries as necessary.
* Provide training and assistance to third-party service providers.
* Maintain an accurate and compliant record of placements using GXB.
* Utilise pertinent market and internal systems to facilitate the placement process.
* Support the internal File Audit process, collaborating with the File Review and Internal Audit team as required.
* Take responsibility for key contractual dates, including payment warranties, subjectivities, and NOCs.
* Collaborate with clients and brokers to address Cash & Credit Control issues, identify root causes of recurring problems, and suggest process changes to drive enhancements.
* Establish and cultivate relationships with vital colleagues and stakeholders, including:
o Risk Management and Compliance
o Information Technology and Digital Management
o Reporting Business Entity
o Team Operations
o Insurance Broking Authority (IBA)
o Premium Processing (including Pro)
o Claims Management
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, encompassing but not restricted to:
o Contract Clarity Client and Market Research
o Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
o Audit Procedures
o Authorisation Framework
