Retail Buyer Role at Pharmacy Client
We are seeking an experienced Retail Buyer to join our client's team in Limerick. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail buying, preferably with experience in premium brands and cosmetics.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support store managers with day-to-day operations
* Manage purchase orders and stock control for premium fragrance and cosmetic houses
* Review stock levels weekly to formulate orders or arrange transfers between branches
* Maximize margin while maintaining competitiveness
* EPOS stock file maintenance
* Generate reports for management
* Coordinate promotional activity with suppliers
* Source special offers and stock for monthly promotions
* Coordinate in-store promotions and online social media activity
* Agree and review Cosmetic Sales targets per store/clerk
* Develop close relationships with Suppliers and internal stakeholders
* Effectively communicate with store managers and staff members
Requirements:
* 3+ years retail and purchasing experience
* Premium Brand cosmetic, sales or management experience
* FMCg, Cosmetic or Pharmacy experience is an advantage
* EPOS experience, Microsoft Excel proficiency and strong analytical skills
* Ability to understand and utilize financial data and KPIs
* Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload
* Strong communicator with ability to communicate with all levels of the business
