The Role
The primary focus of this role is to lead the Origina Security Services Sales function, ensuring the delivery and continuous improvement of support to Origina’s Sales team. This position involves addressing customer security concerns in both their current and future environments by understanding their unique context and operating conditions. You will be responsible for evolving supporting materials and messaging, assisting the sales team in their delivery, and providing assurance that Origina has their security needs covered.
Key Responsibilities:
Own delivery and development of Origina’s Security Services sales support function
Join customer calls &/or represent in person on behalf of Origina Security
Support Pre-sales & sales in tailored customer engagement
Capture and promote success stories to validate Origina’s approach with customers
As required, represent Origina’s sales capabilities at trade shows / events
Hold periodic calls with Origina Director Security and Regulatory Services, SecOps and Regulatory Services
Escalate issues / challenges / support requests to OSS leadership team and Director Security and Regulatory Services
Fully understand and promote/champion Origina Security Services, principles, and approach
Aid sales in shaping potential engagement; security services, likely costings and resource utilisation
Capture and provide security industry trend analysis
Capture customer sentiment on security services, conduct analysis and report back with recommendations as required
Design, develop, and maintain high quality customer intelligence
Conduct initial customer stakeholder identification of customer security teams and build relationships
Identify further opportunity within customer
Inform SecOps on potential customer challenges /requirements in advance to allow for onboarding preparation
Become well versed in security risk management, compliance & regulatory requirements; NIST, ISO27001, PCI-DSS
About you
Successful candidates will possess
A minimum of 5+ years in the development &/or delivery of operational security/service or consulting ideally with 2+ years recent experience in customer engagement / sales within the cyber security domain
Tech savvy with security and systems experience in the operation, design and/or delivery of security services &/or solutions
Strong focus on quality and risk management; situational analysis to identify, measure and record risks
Good working knowledge and experience in the assessment, audit and/or implementation of ISO27001, NIST framework and Cyber Assessment Framework
Good working knowledge of regulatory frameworks design and intent including, PCI-DSS, SOC, SOX and HIPPA compliance
Understanding of secure architecture design best practices and environment hardening
Good working knowledge of vulnerability management, risk management and the design and implementation of compensating controls
Understanding of CVSS scoring system
Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and supporting material development skills, teamwork, and customer interaction skills
Resilient and flexible mindset and comfort with ambiguity in a high-growth environment essential, understanding and addressing issues as they arise
Ability and experience in building and management of relationships internally and externally with trust and integrity
Proven ability to communicate with a broad set of internal and customer stakeholders e.g. technical, security, operational, SAMs, C-Suit or procurement.
