Job Description
We are seeking Operation’s Technical Lead to join our team and provide technical support to our Manufacturing Department. As the Technical Lead, you will play a crucial role in leading technical investigations, supporting projects, and fostering an inclusive culture that prioritizes safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct technical investigations:
1. Lead technical investigations within the Integrated Process Team to identify the root cause of issues and develop robust corrective and preventive actions.
2. Ensure investigations are completed in compliance with quality standards.
3. Utilize lean tools and problem-solving techniques to improve the problem-solving process and enhance site processes and performance.
4. Gather, trend, and analyze data to accurately identify problems and drive continuous improvements across the business.
2. Document investigations and compliance:
1. Clearly and accurately document investigations within required timeframes to meet business and compliance needs.
2. Participate in regulatory inspections to present and defend investigations when necessary.
3. Ensure timely and effective closure of day-to-day quality issues.
3. Drive continuous improvement and compliance culture:
1. Proactively improve processes to deliver competitive advantage for the business and enhance customer satisfaction.
2. Coach and promote a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.
3. Act in accordance with the company’s Guiding Principles and adhere to the corporate Code of Conduct.
4. Comply with all site Environmental, Health and Safety requirements, training, and regulations.
5. Comply with all local site company policies, procedures, and corporate policies.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and experience:
Relevant qualifications and experience:
1. Hold a relevant technical qualification from a recognized institution.
2. Have at least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
Problem-solving and analytical skills:
1. Possess excellent technical writing skills and effective problem-solving skills.
2. Familiarity with root cause analysis tools such as 5 Why's, fishbone analysis, and A3.
Knowledge in data analytics and computer systems:
1. Understand basic statistics and data analytics, including Statistical Process Control (SPC).
2. Familiarity with the use of statistical packages.
3. Proficiency in working with integrated manufacturing systems and computer systems.
Personal traits and abilities:
1. Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
2. Strong organizational and task prioritization skills with attention to detail.
3. Self-motivated and able to work independently on projects while collaborating with all departments.
4. Excellent ability to collaborate across functional teams and work effectively in a matrixed team environment.
5. Demonstrated ability to multitask, problem-solve, and prioritize tasks.
