Team Leader Permanent Contract - 35 hours per week Newbridge, Co. Kildare base with hybrid working GRADE VI (CLERICAL) Salary Scale:
€55,644 to €67,981 annually The ICT Team Leader will manage all of the organisation's IT systems, including planning, implementation, and daily operations.
The ideal candidate will be technically skilled leader who is a team player, be a strong problem-solver, and will supervise an ICT Support Officer.
The role will be based in Newbridge, Co.
Kildare with hybrid working available and travel required for on-site support in Kare's various locations in Co. Kildare, East Offaly, and West Wicklow.
Responsibilities Lead the IT Team's day-to-day activities to the ensure that the Organisation's ICT systems are running smoothly and efficiently Administration of: Office 365 and Azure Kare's Network including Switches, Firewalls and Access Points ICT Security including Access, Anti-Virus, MFA, Account Access management etc Kare's Microsoft Hyper-V Servers Ensure effective disaster recovery plans are in place and operational along with adequate routine back-ups Develop and implement policies and processes for the Information Management and Information and Communication Technology areas in the organisation Help ensure all sites are adequately equipped to maximise the use of available ICT resources Management of 3rd party ICT vendors and act as a liaison/escalation point for end user issues Be aware of and ensure compliance with policy, legislation, and professional requirements This list is not exhaustive Requirements Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years' experience working in an ICT customer-facing/engineer support role.
Strong technical knowledge of network administration, system security, and IT Infrastructure Advanced knowledge and experience working with the MS Office (Excel, Word, etc) Experience with administering Microsoft Azure and Office 365, cloud computing, data storage, and software management Experience with Microsoft Forms/Flow/Power Automate and PowerApps is advantageous Experience working with the public sector (e.g.
procurement etc.)
