Job Title: Staff Grade Clinical/Counselling Psychologist
Trauma-informed care and support for children is at the heart of this role.
We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic psychologist to join our clinical team within a residential care provider for children. This is an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, where you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of children.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality assessments and interventions that prioritise trauma-informed care.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive support services for children.
* Engage in consultation, training, and service development initiatives to enhance care delivery.
Essential Qualifications:
* A recognised degree in Psychology and postgraduate qualification in Clinical/Counselling Psychology.
* Validation from the Department of Health (if qualified outside Ireland) and PSI registration.
* Experience working with children/adolescents in multidisciplinary teams.
* Strong knowledge of developmental trauma and attachment-informed care principles.
Desirable:
* Experience working with care-experienced young people and Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy techniques.
