Base pay range Our client, a rapidly expanding data infrastructure solutions company, is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Director to drive growth and strengthen their presence across Ireland and Europe.
This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven professional with a passion for sales, strategic business development, and customer relationship management.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities.
Engage with existing customers to understand their needs, re-energize dormant accounts, and expand our footprint within these organizations.
Promote the company's portfolio of products, including Structured cabling Copper Fibre & hybrid cables, asset tracking solutions, and access control systems within Data Centres.
Promote the full suite of Data Centre products including Racking, Containment, Optical distribution systems, UPS's and intelligent Power solutions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers across target industries.
Collaborate cross-functionally with the technical, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless customer experiences.
Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform the company's product and sales strategies.
Provide regular sales forecasting and performance reporting to senior management.
Candidate Profile: 8+ years of experience in a senior sales or business development role, preferably in the technology, infrastructure, or building automation sectors.
Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets and growing revenue.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Strong technical aptitude and the ability to understand and articulate the benefits of complex solutions.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with customers.
Familiarity with the Irish and international markets, with the ability to adapt to diverse customer needs.
Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
