Overview:
The Self-Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a self-storage facility or facilities. If more than one site is involved, they will be within a reasonable commutable distance of each other, and a pool vehicle will be available for use. The manager is tasked with ensuring that customers have access to their stored items at all times, as well as maintaining an organized and clean space for all customers, taking into account their health, safety, and welfare.
As a Sales Representative, you will possess good customer service skills, ensuring that nothing is too much trouble for our customers. You will have a good telephone manner, be IT proficient, and have knowledge of CRM systems (preferably Hubspot) to manage all inquiries in a timely manner and navigate the IT stock system to ensure that stock is available for sale or hire.
Responsibilities
* Communicating with potential, new, and existing customers about rates, answering questions about rental terms and conditions, and resolving customer service issues.
* Ensuring that all customers are treated with courtesy and professionalism at all times.
* Maximizing sales opportunities with customers.
* Managing the day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring security and that products are safe and fit for purpose.
* Managing aged debt for all customers, processing payments as necessary, and following up on outstanding payments.
* Conducting regular inspections of the facility to ensure cleanliness and maintenance, ensuring PPE is worn as necessary.
* Maintaining accurate records of all transactions and activities related to facility operations, including maintenance and legally compliant checks.
* Ensuring that all company health & safety policies and procedures are followed.
* Ensuring adherence to GDPR policies and ISO procedures.
* Performing any other duties commensurate with the role.
Requirements
* Exceptional customer service skills.
* Full clean driving license.
* Pleasant personality, where nothing is too much trouble.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Adaptability to change and ability to work well under pressure.
* Problem-solving and organizational skills.
* Ability to represent the company professionally as the first point of contact for the managed facility.
* Willingness to assist where necessary and progress within the business.
* Good attention to detail.
* Excellent computer literacy across all Microsoft disciplines.
* Knowledge of CRM systems (preferably Hubspot) to navigate sales inquiries.
* Strong time management skills to handle customer inquiries promptly.
* Self-motivated and capable of self-management, as this will be a lone working role for the majority of the time.
