Job Description
The Senior Financial Accountant will provide financial expertise, analysis, and advice to key stakeholders within the Community Healthcare Organisation division and organisation. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this role involves driving financial performance, streamlining processes, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring all financial activities align with organisational objectives.
Responsibilities
* Prepare annual budget for review, monitoring budget vs actual and explaining key financial movements in conjunction with the Financial Controller.
* Produce accurate and timely monthly management accounts, including detailed supporting schedules outlining key data movements and identification of challenges and opportunities.
* Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, acting as the first point of contact for finance-related queries.
* Identify opportunities to improve existing financial processes and increase analytics capabilities, raising feedback for potential optimisation and standardisation of methods and processes.
