Job Title: PDW Supervisor
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced PDW Supervisor to join our team at our plant in Listowel.
This is a hands-on role responsible for supervising a shift team of 40 operators, identifying issues, managing production schedules and ensuring holiday coverage.
You will work closely with SAP systems, identify training needs, organize health and safety initiatives, and manage day-to-day business operations.

The position involves working Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm, with one weekend shift every six weeks.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise daily operations of MIS, Butter, Whey, and Casein factories
* Perform administrative tasks related to production, such as log sheets and product tracing
* Direct and supervise cleaning activities within the factories
* Coordinate SAP training and ensure system supervision
* Maintain operator and shift supervisor rosters, manage holiday allocations, and provide cover
* Liaise with the Department of Agriculture on product inquiries
* Oversee health and safety management, including incident investigations and training records
* Develop succession plans to ensure adequate coverage for all operator roles
* Manage payroll through Kronos sign-off
* Serve as a role model for personnel in terms of performance, behavior, and culture
* E nsure adequate operator coverage to meet production targets
* Promote a culture of quality and safety compliance within the area
* Engage the team in quality and safety initiatives to improve compliance culture
* Participate in process improvement projects
* Achieve safety and quality targets, such as product grading and lost time accidents
* Support shift supervisors with daily activities and troubleshoot technical production issues
Requirements
* Previous experience in a similar production leadership role
* Prior experience in the dairy or food manufacturing industry
* Leaving Certificate minimum qualification
* Experience with SAP and Kronos is desirable, but similar systems are essential; training can be provided
* Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
