Financial Controller – FMCG | Cork (On-Site/Hybrid) An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially astute and operationally focused Financial Controller to join a global leader in the FMCG sector.
Based in Cork, this high-impact role will be responsible for overseeing all financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for both the local industrial plant and commercial branch.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting senior operational and commercial teams, driving performance, ensuring compliance with group standards, and contributing to strategic business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities Industrial Controlling Own the month-end close and reporting process, ensuring compliance with global reporting standards Coordinate and manage budget cycles and forecasting for the plant Analyse plant performance, variances, KPIs and improvement projects in collaboration with Plant Management Track production costs and drive cost-efficiency initiatives across materials, labour, and operations Commercial Controlling Lead financial analysis and performance reporting for the Irish commercial branch Partner with sales and operations to influence pricing strategies, customer analysis, and ROI evaluation Prepare institutional forecasts and budget submissions (SAF, Budget, Reforecast) Monitor cost allocations across SKUs/entities to ensure accurate P&L representation Key Requirements Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) 10–15 years' relevant experience within a commercial/industrial finance setting Strong knowledge of IFRS and experience preparing financial statements under local GAAP Proficiency with SAP, Hyperion Financial Management, and Excel (Advanced) Strong leadership skills with proven experience managing or supervising teams Excellent stakeholder engagement and business partnering skills This role offers an exceptional opportunity to join a dynamic organisation undergoing continued growth in the Irish market.
