Job Description:
Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and test electrical systems and components for medical devices.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, software developers, and clinical experts, to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
* Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety requirements.
* Create detailed technical documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and test protocols.
* Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis of electrical issues in existing products.
* Participate in design reviews and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
* Stay updated with the latest advancements in electrical engineering and medical device technology.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
* Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the medical devices industry.
* Proficiency in CAD software and electrical simulation tools.
* Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and standards for medical devices (e.g., ISO 13485, IEC 60601).
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
* Experience with embedded systems and firmware development.
* Knowledge of signal processing and biomedical instrumentation.
* Familiarity with quality management systems and design control processes.
