A high-volume manufacturing facility in Dublin presents a unique opportunity to work with a renowned global brand.
Key Responsibilities:
* QC Technician coordination including welding engineering, supervision, material selection, NDT control and management, quality control management, review and analysis of welding control requirements, and performing quality checks on incoming raw materials.
* Conducting factory sample checks and recording results according to procedures.
* Inspecting and testing products before, during, and after welding.
* Assisting in En10-90 audits and conducting routine internal audits on this standard.
* Calibrating and validating measuring, inspection, and testing equipment.
* Evaluating powder-coated products for conformance to standards.
* Ensuring all QC inspections are completed prior to product shipment.
* Reviewing and updating structural department procedures regularly.
* Collaborating with the non-structural manufacturing team as needed.
* Performing traceability and recall tests.
* Supporting Quality Managers with internal audits and investigations.
* Assisting with customer complaint investigations and containment.
* Managing complaints with suppliers, coordinating investigations, and communicating results.
* Investigating internal and external non-conformities and leading cross-functional teams.
* Maintaining Quality Testing area cleanliness and ensuring Health & Safety standards are met.
* Covering other shifts as needed due to sickness or annual leave.
Essential Candidate Requirements:
* Previous experience in a Quality Inspection role.
* Prior knowledge of welding is essential.
* Experience with measurement and testing equipment is required.
* Previous experience with structural steel fabrication is necessary, with Powder Coating experience viewed favorably.
* Structured, self-motivated, and detail-oriented individual.
* Result-driven professional comfortable working with cross-functional teams.
* Demonstrated ability to thrive in challenging environments.
* Accurate work with attention to detail and meeting strict deadlines.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Proficient in MS Office suite and able to quickly learn new IT systems.
