Responsibilities:
As a Technician, your key responsibilities include:
* Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on production machinery, such as injection moulding machines.
* Conducting mechanical and electrical troubleshooting across various production lines.
* Providing support for both planned and unexpected maintenance activities.
* Maintaining optimal machinery efficiency and operational uptime.
* Performing periodic safety checks on all equipment.
* Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
* Independently addressing equipment malfunctions to prevent damage or potential safety issues.
* Collaborating effectively with the maintenance team to enhance machinery performance and reliability.
Requirements:
* An accredited apprenticeship in Mechanical Fitting, or a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics is essential.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with industrial maintenance software is required.
* Fluent English language skills with excellent communication abilities are necessary.
* Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required.
* Capability of working both independently and as part of a team is essential.
