Our client is a well-established, growing international company based in Meath. With a strong reputation in their industry, they continue to expand operations and are now seeking a Part-Qualified Accountant to join their dynamic finance team.
The Role:
This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified accountant or an experienced Accounts Assistant/Assistant Accountant looking to progress their career in a fast-paced, international environment. The successful candidate will work closely with the finance team, supporting daily accounting functions and contributing to the company’s continued success.
It will be full time onsite until the successful candidate is fully trained into the role/is passed their 6 month probation period. They will offer hybrid, 3 days onsite, 2 days from home, after this point.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports
2. Process invoices, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
3. Assist with tax and compliance reporting (VAT, payroll taxes, etc.)
4. Work with auditors and provide necessary financial documentation
5. Support process improvements and system enhancements within the finance function
6. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
7. Ad-hoc finance tasks as required
Requirements:
1. Part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent) OR relevant experience in an Accounts Assistant/Assistant Accountant role and looking to pursue accounting qualification
2. Minimum of 2-3 years experience in a finance/accounting function
3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
4. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
5. Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
7. Must have own transport
