Job Description
Mbryonics is at the forefront of free space optical communications, covering emerging technologies from photonic integrated circuits to advanced optical systems and embedded software solutions. Our optical communications systems are integrated and deployed in satellite communications systems.
Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for project planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting, ensuring effective communication amongst internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage complex multi-faceted projects within the Agile framework, working alongside Product Owners and Technical Leads.
* Develop and maintain project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
* Monitor and control project progress, identify risks and issues, and proactively develop solutions.
* Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure collaboration and timely execution of tasks.
* Manage project communication, including status reporting, stakeholder management, and escalation of issues as needed.
* Evaluate if project goals, objectives, and requirements are met while adhering to industry regulations and standards.
* Manage financial tracking, including budget forecasts.
* Develop and implement change management plans as necessary, and in accordance with the Contract.
* Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices in project management and agile working.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
* 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in the telecommunications, space or technology industry or regulated manufacturing.
* Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects within scope, budget, and timelines.
* Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
* Experience in risk management, change management, and stakeholder management.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation and facilitation skills.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
* Proficiency in project management software.
Nice to Have
* Master's degree in Space Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
* Familiarity with ECSS (European Co-operation for Space Standards) and Aerospace standards.
* Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification.
* Working with JIRA/Scrum Methodologies.
* Experience working in a research or development environment.
* A technical background.
* Knowledge of relevant space technologies and industry trends.
