We are always striving to be better.Purpose of the RoleEnsure Keelings Retail has the strategic plans in place to deliver sustainable growth for our customers and Keelings business with both private label and brands. Develop and execute strategic plans to drive sales growth, increase market share, and enhance brand visibility.Key Accountabilities & ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to achieve company objectives and revenue targets (in conjunction with the marketing team).Analyse market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth and innovation including market mapping identifying new business opportunities, including new markets, new customers, and new partnerships and capitalise on these.Successfully land new business which delivers growth of the company net profit.Support the account managers to develop sales plans to grow existing product ranges to new and existing customers expanding current range and volume.Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to drive business growth and maximize customer satisfaction.Execution of the Keelings brand (in line with the agreed strategy) & implementation to deliver our growth targets including listings, distribution, availability, sales (volume & value), profitability, promotions, market share, budget, new business development.Create the conditions to continually optimise the motivation, engagement, development, and performance of the team.Live our One Keelings Values and facilitate an inclusive environment where all can excel.Role Specification and Technical CompetenciesTrack record of leading and developing sales and marketing in teams to deliver results.Significant experience of customer acquisition that results in sustainable business growth.Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.Results driven and commercially focused.Customer focus and excellent relationship management.Excellent organisational and leadership skills.The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.Excellent communication, negotiation, influencing, and presentation skills.Behavioural CompetenciesLead the WayTeamwork & CollaborationBe Responsible & Ensure AccountabilityDrive for ResultsInclusion & Diversity StatementIn Keelings, we value all perspectives and knowledge that our colleagues bring to our business.
