Aviva Ireland are looking for a Business Analyst to join our team in Cherrywood, Dublin for an initial 24 month fixed term contract.
You’ll be working in our Innovation & IT Change teams to define business requirements and deliver these across various systems and partners. The projects will be a collection of innovative market leading initiatives which leverage the latest AI technology .
The ability to translate business requirements into clear IT systems requirements is key, as is the ability to follow through the entire delivery. Experience/ interest in new innovations, especially AI and Machine Learning is also an essential requirement for this role.
You must have valid Irish, UK, or EU work rights to be considered for this position.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Defining of requirements and user stories with stakeholders
2. Leading requirement workshops
3. Documentation of requirements
4. Working closely with IT teams to translate business requirements into IT technical deliveries
5. Supporting technical requirements for the IT development and test teams
6. Supporting delivery teams with planning and reporting
7. Supporting developers and testing teams by clarifying queries
8. Co-ordinating external software providers
9. Engaging with Compliance, Data Protection, Legal and Risk teams to ensure all regulatory requirements are considered
10. Management of issues and risks
11. Internal governance
Skills & Experiences :
12. Knowledge of business analysis techniques
13. Working on business requirements for projects related to IT / Digital development
14. Stakeholder management with Compliance, Finance, and external parties
15. Delivering change within General Insurance or Financial Services is advantageous.
16. Have a strong decision-making and prioritisation skillset
17. Be flexible to work on multiple pieces of work at a time
18. Demonstrate personal ownership of work and follow through to conclusions
